Reminder: New Form I-9 Becomes Mandatory 4/30/2020

We previously reported that USCIS released a new version of Form I-9, dated 10/21/2019, which went into effect on January 31, 2020 but would become mandatory on April 30, 2020.  This is a reminder that employers who have not already begun using the updated Form I-9 should prepare to do so no later than April 30, when the previous version (dated 7/17/2017) will no longer be acceptable.
