January 2021 Visa Bulletin Released; USCIS Announces It Will Use Final Action Dates for Employment-Based AOS Applications

With little forward movement, the Department of State today released the January 2021 Visa Bulletin and the USCIS announced it will accept adjustment of status applications for employment-based cases in January under the Final Action Dates chart. Since October (the start of the government’s fiscal year) the USCIS had accepted applications under the Dates for Filing Chart, due to a historic projected availability of immigrant visas.
