Federal Appeals Court Will Not Reinstate Travel Ban
May 26, 2017
The 4th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled to uphold a District Court decision preventing the U.S. government from restricting travel to the U.S. of citizens from Iran, Sudan, Somalia, Yemen, Syria and Libya.
Yesterday’s decision means that citizens from the 6 countries listed above may continue to apply for visas and enter the U.S. following normal procedures.
The Trump Administration is likely to appeal the decision to the U.S. Supreme Court.
