Visa Bulletin July 2016
June 8, 2016
The July Visa Bulletin shows slow advancement in the Application Final Action Dates category for India EB-2 and EB-3 nationals (no movement for China) and no movement in the Dates for Filing Applications category for all countries. In the last few months, the USCIS has accepted for filing only the cases with priority dates listed in the Application Final Action Dates. Applicants should check the USCIS website in the next few days to confirm.
The July Visa Bulletin indicates that for the rest of the fiscal year (through September), the EB-1 category may experience a slight backlog for China and India, while EB-2 may also experience a slight backlog for “All others” countries. No forward movement is projected for China in the EB-2 and EB-3 categories. EB-2 availability for India may advance slightly while EB-3 availability for India is expected to reach early 2005 by September.
