Update on April 2016 Visa Bulletin: USCIS Will Only Accept AOS Filings Current Under Final Action Date

The USCIS has announced on its website that just as it did in March, it will accept Adjustment of Status Applications using the “Application Final Action Dates” and not the “Dates for Filing Applications.”
Below are the dates to determine whether an AOS application may be filed in April.

- India – advances 1 month to November 8, 2008

- China – advances 2 months to August 15, 2013
- India – advances 1 month to August 8, 2004
- Mexico – advances 1 month to February 15, 2016
- Philippines – advances 2 months to May 1, 2008
