September Visa Bulletin shows Retrogression for EB-2 Chinese and Indian nationals
August 13, 2015
The Department of State’s September Visa Bulletin provides some very disappointing news for EB-2 Chinese and Indian nationals. In a surprising counter to Charlie Oppenheim’s prediction about EB2 China remaining steady for September, it is actually going to retrogress by almost 8 years. EB2 India will retrogress by over 2½ years and EB3 makes small gains across the board. Looking ahead, as October is the beginning of the new fiscal year, we hope to see some correction in the EB2 category for Chinese and Indian nationals, but by how much is a guessing game.
EB1 - all still “CURRENT”
EB2
All others – still “CURRENT”
China – retrogresses 7 years 11 months to January 1, 2006
India – retrogresses 2 years and 9 months to January 1, 2006
Mexico – still “CURRENT”
Philippines – still “CURRENT”
EB3
All others – advances 1 month to August 15, 2015
China – advances 6 months to December 22, 2004
India – advances 6 months to December 22, 2004
Mexico – advances 1 month to August 15, 2015
Philippines – advances 6 months to December 22, 2004
