U.S. and China to Extend Visas for Business Traveler and Students

The Department of State recently announced that, effective November 12, 2014, the U.S. and China will extend visas for short-term business travelers, tourists and students issued to citizens of each country. Previously, visas were limited to one year. They will now be granted for up to 5 years for students and 10 years for business and tourism. Unfortunately, the program was not extended to holders of H-1B visas.
