One Month Window for Diversity (DV) Lottery Visa Program Begins October 1, 2015

Online registration for the DV 2015 Program begins Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at 12 noon (EST), and closes Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 12 noon. If the Senate's comprehensive immigration legislation were to be signed into law, this could be the last year for this opportunity as the Senate's bill proposes to eliminate the DV Lottery. The State Department notes that nationals of the following countries are NOT eligible to apply this year:
Bangladesh, Brazil, Canada, China (mainland-born), Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Haiti, India, Jamaica, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, South Korea, United Kingdom (except Northern Ireland) and its dependent territories, and Vietnam.
