Immigration and Other Regulatory Challenges Faced by Entrepreneurs
April 24, 2012
The Small Business Administration (SBA) is looking for entrepreneurs to share challenges in immigration and other legal areas as part of their effort to improve opportunities for economic growth and promote US job creation. SBA will hold a roundtable discussion on May 2 at the San Jose Entrepreneur Center. Janis Reyes, Assistant Chief Counsel at the SBA’s Office of Advocacy will lead the discussion which includes Yvonne Lee, Regional Advocate with the Office of Advocacy. SBA’s efforts as well as the recently launched USCIS Entrepreneurs in Residence program reflect the current administration’s recognition that changes must occur to allow entrepreneurs to open businesses in the US and retain talented engineers and other highly skilled employees.
