WSM welcomes AIC Board to San Francisco

WSM and partner Kirsten Schlenger, Chair of the Board of Trustees for the American Immigration Council (AIC), hosted a welcoming cocktail party for the AIC Board on October 20, 2011. Board members from around the country enjoyed San Francisco's fall weather and mild earthquakes. Bay Area 6th grader/author Angela Yang read her winning essay on "Why I'm Glad America is a Nation of Immigrants." The AIC held its Board meeting and sponsored two continuing legal education seminars this week in San Francisco.
The AIC strengthens America by honoring our immigrant history and shaping how Americans think about and act towards immigration. AIC programs include the Community Education Center, Immigration Policy Center, International Exchange Center and Legal Action Center.
