On June 7, WSM attorneys Laura Mazel, Flora Hoffman and Stephanie Smith attended a meeting with U.S. Congressman Mike Honda and Chief Counsel of Advocacy with the Small Business Administration, Dr. Winslow Sargeant, to discuss the immigration needs of small businesses. In particular, WSM raised the recent USCIS denial of petitions and unwieldy Requests for Evidence for entrepreneurs as a strong inhibitor of small business growth.
